Yesterday, Kat and I met up in UP Diliman for a photo walk where I saw her new toy, the Canon EOS Kiss. It felt great to be out of the house after many weeks and taking photos again. I'm beginning to get a hang of using my Nikon D3000 and I'm excited to organize a few shoots with friends sometime next year.
There wasn't much people in campus as it was a holiday and the eve of New Year's Eve. After two hours of walking and shooting, we went to Maginhawa St. in UP Village where we had an early dinner at Leona Art Restaurant. The place had a homey and relaxed ambiance, and I really loved the food. It was something that would've come out of my mom's kitchen (minus the pizza). I'd definitely come back for another visit, hopefully with my mom and sister.
That's it for this year's last blog post. Hopefully next year, I'd get to post more and keep this space up to date. In the meantime, Happy New Year to all! Have a safe and awesome celebration with your loved ones! See you all in 2012.
